Still Time to Sign Up for the New Womens’ Bible Study Opportunity! The Monday night women’s Bible Study group (led by Andrea Sloup and Sara Moll) will be starting a new 10-week study on Monday, September 11, and you are invited! The group will meet Monday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30 pm in Room 217 at the Rock to go through the following study: “Restless: Because you were made for more” by Jennie Allen.
Women of all ages are welcome! After we know the total number of women joining us, we will purchase the books. The Study Guide is required and costs $11.00. The book is optional and costs $15.00. If you have questions or want to sign up, contact Sara or Andrea. They will be in The Rock Café area after worship. A young adults group is meeting on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. at Brevin and Michaela Sloup’s house! (1616 Eastridge Ave) Contact them for more information.
We hope your children will be joining us for our midweek activities starting this week. Stepping Stones is for ages 3 to 4th grade, and you can sign up HERE. FaithInk is our confirmation group for grades 5-8, and you can sign up HERE. Godparents groups for high school students are combined with the groups at St. John, and you can learn more about that HERE.
Join us this Wednesday evening at 6:30 for our kickoff family potluck dinner. We’ll meet in The Rock Cafe (third floor). Bring food to share with the group.
Use your gifts at The Rock! God has blessed every individual with unique gifts, skills and talents. We’d love to have you use your gifts in service at The Rock! As a bonus, helping out at The Rock will also give you the opportunity to connect with some great people, find a sense of belonging and experience the joy of being used by God! Our September item for the Blue Valley food pantry is boxed meals. Thanks for being a blessing to the community in this way! You can see our Blue Valley Pantry item schedule on our website. Year-round they also collect the following: pasta, pasta meal mixes, instant potato side dishes, and mashed potatoes.
