Last fall, The Rock Directors learned that a rooftop air conditioning unit was in need of replacement and authorized purchase of a new unit at a cost of approximately $20,000. Directors also asked members of the congregation, if they were in a position to do so, to consider a special year-end gift to off-set some of that cost. Thanks be to God, generous members of The Rock contributed a total of $23,900 toward this need! With this, the church will be able to proceed with the project without using our bank line of credit. What a blessing, and what a testimony to the generosity of God’s people!
Stepping Stones AND FaithInk are cancelled for tonight, January 27. There has been a delay in removing snow from the parking lot. See you next week at 6:30!
Remember that Stepping Stones and FaithInk follow the same cancellation policy as Seward schools: if the schools close because of the weather, then Stepping Stones and FaithInk will also be cancelled for that night.
Tom and Sue Briggs are leading a Bible study at The Rock for parents based on the book and video series “Parenting from the Tree of Life” by Gary and Anne Marie Ezzo, starting on Sunday, January 17, from 5-6:30. (Childcare will not be available)

Our January item for the Blue Valley food pantry is soap and shampoo. In February, we’ll be collecting soup. The collection box is in the Rock Cafe. Thanks for being a blessing to the community in this way!

YogaFaith is offering both in person classes and online classes. Class offerings are as follows: All Level YogaFaith – Tuesday and Thursday nights at 5:30 pm and Restorative Candlelight YogaFaith is every Sunday night at 7:00 pm. To stay 6 feet apart, we are limiting the number of people in the room to 6 (including Sara and Erika) so you will have to register in advance for an in-person class.
