Rock News

Here’s your Rock news for the week:

THIS SUNDAY:  Join us at 10:00 a.m. for Week 2 of God’s Wild Kingdom.  God had a plan for Jonah, but Jonah wasn’t too happy about it.  That’s when a big fish got involved and Jonah went to Nineveh with the ultimate fish story.  Invite a fishy friend to join you at the Rock this weekend.

ATTENTION 8-12th GRADERS!  The next LIT (Living in Truth) event is THIS SUNDAY from 6pm to 8pm at the Rock.  All 8-12th graders from the Rock and from the community are welcome.  Bring a friend and come for food and fun.

BIBLE STUDY FOR TEENS:  Joel and Sara Endorf of Seward are putting together a youth bible study open to all teens and to begin soon.  Here’s the info from the Endorfs:  You are invited to Joel and Sara Endorf’s house for a Bible study every other Friday night (Starting May 5) at 7:30-9pm. We will study and discuss what it means to be a child of God, who God says I am, and how to live life in that grace and freedom. All high schoolers of any denomination are invited. Feel free to bring a friend! Our address is 740 N. 2nd in Seward. We hope to see you then! (Allergy alert: we own a kitty-cat).

BLUE VALLEY PANTRY:  This Sunday is the last Sunday for paper towels.  We’ll stay with paper products, but switch to facial tissues for May.

Blessings on your weekend!
